For this web quest, your class will explore the development of mathematical concepts in ancient civilizations. You will be working in a group to explore one mathematical concept and produce a poster which will become part of the class exhibit. This class exhibit will include a timeline of ancient civilizations and mathematical discoveries of those times. As a part of this exploration, you will respond to focus questions both individually and as a group. These focus questions, your group timeline, and a map will be the components of the poster. As a class, you will analyze the posters and timeline in a Gallery Walk.
